My friend installed new windows 7 on my laptop before that i am useing xp now when i switch on my laptop two options come to choese xp or windows 7 and want to use only win7 ,how to set directly to boot win7?? * +

your doing what is known as duel booting, to explain how to remove the one boot from the hard drives partition on here whold be confusing to you, and if you attempted it and when wrong you have no pc, take it back to your mate and get them to fully format the hard drive then install windows, you'll find that is the easiest and quickest way * +

I scearched about it its not dual boot actually the second option comes of xp setup ,i cant format laptop and also my friend is out of town,, is there any software from which i can remove that xp setup screen *
