Not sure why but my pc isnt picking up all my ram, I HAVE 4gb installed but on the system specs it reads installed memory: 4gb then in brackets 3gb usable. Im running windows 7 ultimite 64bit, my specs are 450w psu, 3gh core2dup, 7900gt 256mb gfx card. Any ideas why its not using te entire 4gb ram? * +

Because 1gb is already being used in running 64bit os. * +

Ck is correct, it allocates 1gb to windows, on 6gb it reads 5 as usable * +

asrock motherboard ? if yes... search in BIOS for ''memory remaping'' and set to enabled... also run some RAM test like memtest v4.10 or goldmemory pro v7.70 to see how much ram will be shown there * +
