I just droppd my hdd nd nw my pc wnt detect it. Is there any way I can fix it or atleast recover data frm it. B.T.W it still lights up wen its connected to th pc but it jus wnt be dtected. * +

remove it from the case and dissconnect it. if your lucky it will just be the case connector broke. if so just plug it in to your internal and use it as such. * +

that might not be the prob, the light is jsut a light, the prob maybe the internal board it connects to inside the drive casing, open it up it just maybe a case of the drive isnt connected up properly in the casing, * +

@jay.mack thanks @the,rain i opened it and it wasnt connected to the casing i reconnected it but it still isnt being detected. strangely though it is appearing on the safely remove hardware tool.. * +

so remove it entirley fron the external case and connect it to the internal satas if you have a lead. * +
