Hi guys. I ve got a weird problem with the gpu fan, its a ati 4870x2 2gb, when i press the power on button on the pc the gpu fan makes too much noise at start up of the windows. But after the pc got start it works normally. Any idea? If i want to replace it is that possible? * +

monitor the temps if they are too high then your fan might be broken * +

The temps are at 70-80-85 when gaming. I really need to see it i have to remove the gpu from the mobo and have a look at it. * +

if the fans not making any odd noises, then its not broken, you just have amd overdrive enabled at boot. * +

basically your turning on the pc and the gfx fan spinns up to 50-80 percent. 1s windows is loaded, it realises that fancontrol is off and slows the fan to normal. so uncheck fan control and amd overdrive. click ok and reboot. if this was the problem, it should not happen. * +
