Newly got a laptop. Its an ibm thinkpad. Norton did not find faults. Used a scan program downloaded it and it found under 1000 driver faults. Any suggestions wud be much appreciated. Thanks guys. * +

use your laptops support page to update your drivers . norton is an anti virus (not a good one ) and does not scan for updated drivers * +

Norton was already installed. had to renew to norton2010 Using window xp. The laptop is an ibm thinkpad. Wireless. Got sky router, cant seem 2 set up the wireless connectitvity. I have to keep the ethernet cable attached. Can you tell I am a virgin to this pc malarkey.lol its a gud gadget to have I know. And I am learning. Any other suggestions m8? * +

No switch. If my landline was bt, and I was using sky broadband wud u advise I used bt so my wireless works without the ethernet cable attached? The area I am in does not have a great signal but its sufficient. All the driver need updating also. It really needs a whizz kid to sort it out. But if I explain my issues with u I appreciate ur help.cheers. * +

Its bt fon line m8. But I got the sky wireless router. As I use sky tv. The laptop was not bought in this country so I am having to configure to uk settings. I dont know what drivers need updating. Their is alot tho.lol do I need to see a specialist? * +

if you call sky they maybe able to fix it over the phone . you do have the sky broadband package active * +
