you have tried already? but you cant find the settings. every bios i have had that has had onboard vga has had a setting in bios to turn it of and on. maybe its under peg mode. * +

if there isnt 1 then at a guess its a plug and play so will connect to it at boot. but you may have to reboot a couple of times to get it to register itself. * +

again make sure that its turned on in bios if there is a setting for plug and play. * +

I've tried lol there's no settings in bios for en/disabling onboard vga but i think it's just like that cos even on the hp site then say d@ not all boards have that option.guess myn's one of it, i also ran thru their onsite troubleshooting and they didn't recommend putting it off/on in bios so i'm pretty sure of it not being there * +

Oh n thanks for the input guys much appreciated but regrettably after doing the troubleshooting it was determined that., wel... According to hp, i need a new board lol but it works quite fine when i put an other card in so it just the onboard display thats busted. Thanks again, really appreciate it. *
