Just finished watching the movie body of lies. Yes i know i'm a couple of years late but nevertheless enjoyed it. I loved the whole being able to zoom and track and follow someone. I'm curious though, has technology today reached that point or rather is that technology available for the masses? Yes there is google maps and got everything down to a tee but the ability to track through satellite? * +

As a kid i loved such movies, so much power in one's hands. being in a bas*ment somewhere busy gathering intel on someone jumping from satellite to street cams. Ofcourse such power would be capped seeing that the net available in africa is capped but how cool would it be... zoom into a house and then switch to infrared and track body heat lol... Just imagining it. * +

Best commercial satellite resolution is about half a metre. Maybe conspiracists would argue military versions are at least twice the resolution, but no one really knows * +

So basically assuming the best res we dont know about is around 25cm then even people directly above would work out as 3 pixels across or so on a screen or photo lol * +
