hi... i hav a problem on my compaq cq42-102tu with windows 7 ultimate... before this im tap f8 to boot to safemode but now when i tap it nothing happen... may i know why? * +

have you turned the keyboard support off in bios?, whether it be wake up on or usb support. * +

can you get into bios? if so it may be that win7 isnt compatable with your laptop. * +
