Hi guys just got an 8gb Sandisk Cruzer and once installed my system see's it as a USB HDD and a CD DVD Drive *

Even in bios it see's it as hdd or cd drive.. How do I make it do it reads it as a hdd.. I'm only using it to install windows 7 from but still it annoys me *

maybe coz you made it bootable... i say if you done with installing win7, format the usb in any other normal common format such as fat32 or even ntfs. That should sort you out *

sandisk cruzer comes with the U3 portable suite one of the partitions emulates a virtual CD drive that is where the autorun files reside. you can remove all the addons and format it as a single volume *
