Here's what to do? *

1) click start click run type cmd /d click ok 2) type cd enter 3) type dir /ah to see the hidden files 4) if u see autorun.inf your pc is virus infected or extention name .vbs .exe .com except ntdect.com 4) type attrib -r -a -s -h *.* then enter it removes all read archive system and hidden files 5) now delete virus by typing del /f /a virusname then hit enter and that's it enjoy. *

What about safe mode ? Plus that won't access the root directory and ... Just forget it . There are way to many holes in your so called tip . *

Oops! Sorry i'm sleepy posting that last night so i 4got the back slash on number 2 post do it like this to enter the root directory type cd and your in to the root directory of a drive. *
