Hi all I have a foxconn 45cmx motherboard, 2.2 intel dual core cpu, one 160gig hdd , two 250 gig hdd, 500w psu, two 1gig ddr2 ram, a nvidia gt8500 512mb, one tv fm tuner card and one dvd writer. I turn one my pc but it just keeps on beeping. it beeps then pauses then beeps again then a pause again then beeps again and so on. I think it might be the motherboard but I'm not sure can anyone help please * +

Did that start? Did u actually check from where the sound comes? Small beep or big alarming one? * +

short beep is just that, a lon beep lasts for a half second or more. plz be specific... also if you can remember your bios name. (it flashes up at post) * +

Try to check your ram one at a time then boot your pc it possible that one of your ram have a problem clean it w/ a pencil eraser and put it back again, if it's not working count the beeps you hear and searh on google for possible answer. * +

try to reset bios manualy,it seams like its trying too boot but failing,maybe the cpu clock is way up or some other misconfiguration,maybe the bios data got corrupted and need a reset,oh who knows.do it,it doesnt cost u a lot,maybe it fixes your problem * +

my motherboards uses a phonix bios i already reset it. its a loud beep every half second? * +
