Plz sum1 help me my pc(desktop) ws interupt by power while playing a game. After power came, it faild 2turn on. At 1st 3months ago it did the same bt it finaly switch on. The power suply is ok. Its a Compac semphron * +

try resetting the bios, if its a cheap power supply then it could be that it damaged your motherboard or your cpu. * +

also leave plugged in but the power to the socket turned OFF, this allows conection to the live wires, then press the on button on your pc keep it pressed for 30+ seconds, this will drain the system of any remaining current, turn the mains socket power back on, then try the pc again, i had an old hp pc that wouldnt reboot after power cuts there enginers told me that trick and it worked, * +

clearing out the residual current should do the trick so try that first... good catch rain... * +

Well switching pc on needs more power than turning fan or led on. So can be a problem in switching ic of psu... * +

rolls eyes, the most power is used by the fans, processor and hard drive, the motherboard uses practically nothing, the cpu is just one big transformer, in most cases when it goes it goes and nothing works * +
