I might have posted in the wrong section, but here goes my friend bought him a memory card and after he formatted in the pc is says memory card corrupted when he puts it in his phone why is it doing this, can it be that its a rubbish brand or what * +

pc and phone formats can be different, a pc will format it to its own file system requirements, its always best to format anything with the device its going to be used for * +

The thing is the phone doesnt pick up the card will inserted i think the card is broken now, but hey was worth a try * +

you always get that with phone cards, blow down the slot where the card goes into, the smallest bit of cr*p can stop a good contact between phone and card. * +

Or try formatting it in another phone for him... All phones are not made equal
