It's cr*ppy and slow , but there is always Windows Movie Editor . Look for it in the start menu . And there is always Nero . * +

i'm using avidemux and i'm quite happy with it,its free and it covers all the basic stuff but still far more advanced then windows movie maker,and faster too * +
