well for a start kinpin you dont use paste on gfx cards you use tape as the chips often face downwards meaning the heatsyncs need to be stuck to the chips. paste wont stick the heatsyncs as soon as the chips heat up the syncs will migrate or just fall off the chips due to the paste being a liquid. *
