I've got a wd elements 1tb, can some1 tell me how I back up everything of my laptop onto it ?. I got it 4 Xmas and not sure if it dose it it's self or if I need to back everything up 1 by 1. . * +

Go to my computer, drive C... hit ctrl plus C. Then go to your 1tb drive and hit ctrl plus V. Problem? * +

open both drives and copy the files you want over, just simply drag and drop to where you want them. * +

Clone your old hard drive to your new hard drive before installing the new one. Simple. Google for instructions. * +

what mogo said... and right before that, i'd suggest you to format WD Elements 1TB disk before first usage
