my toshiba portege R100 fell on d ground and i tried putting it on,it indicates dat power is activated as on d indicator lights on d side but doesnt display d toshiba logo on startup,it just displays a black screen as if its not turned on yet. Plz guru what do i do? * +

look under it on the botton there should be some access panels, remove them, they will give you access to the ram cards and hard drive, check to see they have not come lose, then try rebooting again * +

The power inverter to lcd is maybe damage i had same in toshiba after small drop to it..it was repair but expensive and afterwards could see specks of dust or something behind lcd :( * +
