there is a basic tutorial in the book. if you dont have it log in to your normal vb forum and ask there as we cant give you accurate basic commands due to pro's wording conventions. * +

Thx jay. . I just want da procedures, like where 2 go n click and whch forms 2 use etc. . . I one time made it but nw cnt remember da procedures. . If u knw a nice forum just post it here pls * +

Two input boxes and a button. On clicked button check the database or whatever if the login and password is correct. Not sure how it's done in vb, but in Qt you can do that easily by assigning the button's click signal to your custom validation slot * +
