Hi, I recently created a new user account because the one I was using was very slow. So I moved all my documents to the new user a/c using the same(previus) and deleted it afterwards. The problem is the previus a/c had a password and all the files were protected. so I cant copy, move or open any of them using the new a/c, all I get is 'access denied'. Is there any way I can remove this protection. Plizz help....thanx * +

if the other account is the admin account you can go to folder options and uncheck use simple file sharing.then go to security tab and take ownership of the items, then grant yourself full access. * +

if the files are in unaccessable folder you can also use a non windows boot cd to move them away * +
