Hi hope sumone can help! I got a laptop 2day 2nd hand frm a warehouse thats went bust. Got a dongle plugged it in and keep getin a message sayin adminstrative priveledges required to install vodafone broadband instaler will now exit. How can i overcome this problem! Thanx in advance. * +

The software you need to install is on the vodaphone dongle, navigate to it under My Computer, right click on the .exe and click run as administrator * +

Did it the newhardware wizard install the modem drivers and its just the s**tty vodafone dashboard that wont install..if yep and its a hauawei modem search for mobile partner its unbranded dashboard..if its a zte dongle try dculocker archive for alternative dashboard * +

won't work, sounds like his account is locked with no privileges to install bug*er all, probably can't even delete an icon from desktop. Either get into the admins account or reinstall windows. * +
