managable screen size or forget it altogether and get a decent gfx card like a 450gtx/460gtx which will handle 1080p rez and better, then get a cheap big crt for r250 second hand. * +

Resolutions not screen size. Lcds don't flicker. You will need a monitor with a native resolution your card can handle. You know what resolutions you always play when play games and such so look for a lcd with around that native resolution * +

Sell your pc add it with that cash you have and buy a new rig. Either wait till Amd answer to Intel sandy bridge for the prices to take a dump or you can look for a setup on gumtree.co.za. Your choice *
