if u use klite just go to program files klcp tool and then run win7ds filter. on h264 change mark from windows to ffdshow. its my question at codecguide forum * +

the best would really be to remember what you did... also windows media player does not add thumbs to mp4 container iirc, because there are no native codecs for the related codecs. if you have conflicting associations or codec packs then uninstall them, in ccleaner's reg cleaner clear everything, re-install the player/codecs. personally i have removed all associations AND wmp and only use portable players :P *
