I just finished reinstalling windows vista on my laptop. Before installing vista my ram was 2gb, now it just appears as 1gb after the installation. Can any1 please what the problem is and how i can fix it. Thank you *

Checked the memory sticks individually to see if they both still work? 32 bit OS? you haven't got lots of pci cards have you? *

Inbuilt gfx? Check ram slots too *
