will windows 7 work on a pc wid dese specs? Sum ppl say it wudnt work cos of the processor, d pc ws bought bak in 2008 btw.. Ecs lga775 atx 1333 fsb 2 by ddr2, memory 1 gb ddr2 667 by 2, samsung 200gb sata, intel dual core 2.0GHz 1MB 800, geforce 7300GLE 256MB PCI-E.. * +

if its low end win7 eg, basic home prem etc then yes my laptop has 1 gig ram, 2.2ghz processor with home prem and works ok, but if its win7 ultimate etc then yes more ram is recomended * +

on that setup i recomend windows xp. there is no real advantage to be had from putting 7 on as you wont get aero or any of the other nice features that 7 has. * +

u can run even Win7 ultimte 32 bit on that config... 2 gb for 64 bit... N u may miss aero, the translucency thing... But i am not sure... * +
