this morning i turn on my laptop(acer travelmate 4280) and i get the message 'NTLDR IS MISSING Press ctrl+alt+del to restart. I tried the command but it takes me back to the very same screen. Please help me out... *

Insert your windows disk. Boot into the recovery console. Chkdsk /r then when its finish type fixboot and fixmbr. Reboot repair your windows installation *

Will it work with a different windows xp disk or must it be the same as the one installed what about if it was a disk that was copyed wood that work *
