rigt i need some help here as im totally lost , tried everything to sort this with no luck . i did a restore on my netbook without the battery on ( doh) and had a power outage halfway through . i now cannot access windows as the partition was deleted durring the restore . i also cannot get it to boot into the restore partition . any ideas its driving me mad * +

iv tried a few boot disks and tried to restore the recovery partition but no luck . the datas there but i cant get to it * +

a recovery partition uses a diffrent mbr to normal os though doesnt it . * +

the mbr (master boot record) holds data for the partiton layout on the disk so should hold the data for the recovery partiton. the mft (master file table)holds the data for the file locations on a particular partition. * +
