firefox has been working fine up until yesterday. Its either it wont open at all or when it opens it doesnt pick up any connection. I went on to troubleshooting it and the results i get it 'Incompatible Application' im using win7ultimate, firefox 4.0 beta 5. Please help me * +

tried the full ver. Also same, even the progress indicator at the bottom that usualy says 'Waiting for mtn.co.za' its not changing at all. * +

it could be a network problem then rather than firefox playing up * +

oh solved it. Avast was the problem, after unistalling it everything was good again. Thanx alot guys. * +

Lol why was the avast the problem? Maybe it was blocking malware which got into your sockets. Now you removed avast without knowing why. Not very clever to say the least. Download malwarebytes and run a full scan * +
