ok kwl wil try der. I js had an idea. Wt if i cud try t fix dt windows, log in, n restore it via a previous restore point? Wud dt work? I tryd to repair it using d windows disk bt it kps sayng dt d system registry does nt appear t hav an active controlsetkey and dt it may b damagd.. It dn suggests dt i shud restart n try using last known gud config (which i did) o repair (wich wil lead me bak ere) * +

yoh im in cape town. I have active undelete 7.2 or similar and recovermyfiles... this software works great , i recovered pictures and documents dating back to 2001! *
