From what i can see the GT445m is slightly better, so im thinking of getting a new dell XPS 17 with a GT445M (I7 740QM @ 1.73Ghz and 4GB 1333Mhz RAM)... But im still not 100. Will it actualy perform better than the GTX 260m or am i missing something? * +

Get the 260m. Its older but its still faster than 445. * +

The gtx 260m is basically a 9800gtx chip wit slightly higher clock rates, though it is very slightly faster, it will soon change with new drivers, it is stupid to get the 260 for jus a slight performance increase * +

Btw is the 445 ddr3 or 5 model? Also the 445 has a new architecture, and has dx 11, the 260 is not worth it, speedwise even the 98gtx is probably a little faster , but i don't suppose u r gonna buy that. The 260 consumes 75 watts as opposed to 445, 45 watts, the 260 is found only in heavy notebooks * +
