Dude, i'll give u some good advice, don't worry abt this battery stuff, if u go in a shop and ask for a lap wit good batt life, they will show u a s**t machine wit a s**t processor, and u'll get 10 to 15 mins more batt life, why is the battery even an issue? U want a long lastin batt, get a 9 cell, want even more? Get a bay battery, what exactly do u want? * +

Remember, batteries can be bought , changed, performance cannot. Only thing to look for is, go for the new core i series of processors, since they have memory controller and gpu builtin the effective tdp of these chips is very less, also the gpu in these chips is also quite good, so i wud suggest not to buy a laptop wit discrete graphics, these things will improve battery life * +

Wait for amd's llano if you're gonna use your laptop for 3 or more years it beats i series. It has gpu and cpu in the same die. Consumes very less power too *
