I want to take now pc's hard disk out and attach it to my friends pc so as share some data. Is their any preventive measures should I take before connecting myhard disk to his pc like should I password protect my user account ? * +

Then its gonna come in your drive too. So u try booting from ur drive, i know drivers won't be the same, but many times it runs, only sata drivers shud be installed on both * +

we both have sata . Mine 350 gig and his is 1tb. But his mobo is g41 I guess and mine is g31 will it boot from my h'd on his pc * +
