How can i find out if my net connection is being used or utilized by someone else? I'm not using wireless though just normal modem internet. However paranoia got me thinking that my net is somehow being utilized without my knowledge 
. Any software i can use to find out if my net is being stolen or if i'm a victim of hackers. Or even keep track of all the open connections on my pc if possible. * +

If using Windows then Microsoft's free Network Monitor is an alternative to Wireshark. Network Monitor is not easy for beginners. Unofficial addon to Firefox browser, FireSheep. Easy to use but built-in feature may be illegal if used on networks belonging to others.
