I have a problem with that... when i type airmon-ng on terminal on bt3,its juz shown chipset driver only.. it doesnt shown my wifi adapter.. can someone help me out of this problem?? i run it on win 7 32 bit with vmware 7.1 and my laptop model is compaq cq 42 102-tu with atheros adapter.... * +

Vmware only works with wireless USB cards. It won't work with your in-built wireless adapter. Are u using Aircrack-ng? * +

thanks for the wrong info ? lol theres the whole list of all compatibile/working wifi cards and/or usb wifi devices... check at the BT home page.... * +

you could also get complete tutorials there on how exactly install drivers for wifi device... * +

U are the one who has his info wrong @metulj. BT would have been supported by the in-built wifi adapter had the pw been running it from his computer main operating system. But the catch here is that he is trying to run BT using Vmware..... * +

And i went further and looked at the compatibility of the wifi cards as you suggested. What is said on that page is that vmware or any other virtualisation software does not allow bt2 or 3 to operate fully with non-USB devices which include inbuilt wireless devices. No support is offered for Bt if u are using vmware or any other virtualisation software. * +
