Ok, purchased this card 2dayz ago,bt it just does not seem to work, pc gets stuck in POST.The onli time it passes iz when i disconnect the HDD, thot the HDD was faulty,but tested with an0thr 1 n had the same prob.. Wen i put bk my 9800gt evrythn w0rks fine,any idea on how 2 fix this? Pc specs Intel DQ3510J mobo,c2d e4600 @ 2.4ghz, 3gb ram, 450wPSU, win7 32bit * +

its a fairly low power card. something like 18 at idle and 120 at load, it takes 75 from the motherboard the rest from a 6pin, maybe you can get it to post and get in to bios, to load optomized defaults. save and quit. lit it dmi update then turn off add the hdd and try rebooting. * +

also if your using a 6-4x2 splitter from your power leads try a different config such as splitting the molex to 1 on each power lead, or both on 1 lead, making sure you use the highest ampage 12v 1s. * +

Are all your ram's the same brand and type?? I also have a 5770 and had problems with it.. made sure all my ram's where the same, and problem solved * +

its your mobo. If you let it sit there at post hanging it will reboot and by pressing f1 it will boot into windows and run everything without a hassle or bsod. So have a look for a bios upgrade for the mobo see if it fixes the issue * +

faulty GFX and nothing else... ask for replacement... 5770 can run on 300W PSU for sure... tested with MSI 5770 and SAPHIRE 5770 ... it'll run for example 3D mark 06 to infinity if needed... * +

Yip the replacement will do exactly the same lol. Its a issue with the 5770 and certain mobos. * +
