the sub came with a 1m cable so by the time I get it around my stand its only about 30cm away from tower, I remem a friend of mine had his sub on his tower and it damaged his hdd * +

a lot if not all speaker systems for pc's are magneticly sheilded. i wouldn't worry about it * +

most speakers come magnetically shielded nowadays.. Nevertheless, magnetic field is ought to occur with speakers.. Especially with the woofers. Keep it a good distance away, not much to get rid of the fun outta it tho.. * +

woofer should be atleast 1 foot away from tower and monitor if its crt. Satelite speakers are safe to keep any near *
