i have an hp laptop nc6230,120gb hdd,2gb ram,2.0ghz processor,been using it for upto 2years naw without problems,just one day i saved ma work and put ma pc to sleep,in the morning i just powered it all i saw was this--- * +

I tried alt+del nothing happened,then i hard shut it down,i pressed the power button nothing showed up,the screen was blank,i left it for like 15mins and tried it again,it booted with no problems but,when i tried switching on my wilan it pops up again,so i disabled the wilan driver on the next startup,so all i see naw is sometimes i shutdown my pc turning it on to show up atleast press f10 * +

even screen illuminating wont start,i will keep on pressing the power button repeatedly untill i see the hp icon,pleaes help people anyone know wats the cause * +

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315223 claims it could be a hardware fail or driver hang. as the system is only 2 years old then look to the driver issue first, then chek the bios and reset it to optomized defaults, then if all else fails chck the ram. * +
