i've got 3Ghz cpu, 2 gigs ram. Cpu is single core though, but it's got hyper threading, suppose that wont make much difference though. I'm willing to spend upto about R800 or so, might even go as far as R1000 with a push. * +

thats good then hyperthreading only works to a point but i wouldnt go any further then a 4670 card cause no point really you wont gain anything unless you have a dual core cpu * +

yeah, i'm gonna stop after i get graphics card. Wish i did not have to get agp card, but i cant bear the onboard graphics anymore, it also does not support the correct resolutions for my lcd monitor. That was the final nail in the coffin for me deciding to get agp card * +

my motherboard does accept dual core processor too. Lol, but i'm not even gonna consider it considering i still would not have pci express slot * +

shortly after i get that, i'll be buying the computer case for new computer, and then i'll have to wait a couple of months before i can start getting the next parts. Anybody got any ideas on cases that have dust filters built in? * +
