Hi just installed this game on laptop, i have i5 2.4ghz with turbo to 2.8ghz n 4gb ddr3 ram with a nVidia gt 330m.. It lags on medium settings when only using 400mb od 1gb of gfx ram, will run fine on low settings but looks cr*p.. Can i optimize my laptop to make it play on medium settings * +

Its shouldnt lag on an i5. Before launching the game right click on the game's icon goto properties if you are using win 7 . Select the compatibility tab and check mark on Disable visual theme and then click ok. Then try it. * +

it shouldnt lag but it does because it really needs a quad core and a good GPU to even manage medium and say 50 percent settings. GT330 isnt very fast, no faster than a 9500GT really, just above minimum spec. Dont expect much above low, you will just have to balance the settings for the most pleasing visuals. Remember on console the game only runs low resolution and low 20 frames a second mostly * +

it runs okayish on my laptop medium settings 1440 x 900 with a dual core but not brilliant because it needs a quad really, plus it has a 9800M GTS which is about twice as fast as a GT330M * +

I've decided 2 take it off n maybe put it bk on without doing the update, see if that helps, like I installed the new patch for COD 4 n I was getting 50 - 60fps but every so often it would just jump down to 12fps n then bk up to 60 * +
