15 fan's are optional as per review's I read. It comes with only 5 fan's at stock. It can run more 6 harddisk and 3 sdd more or less and that will be creating a lot of heat. * +

not realy the hdds run at about 6 degrees above ambient. in my case thats 26 degrees. and i dont even have the fans on max. * +
