As a FREE Av, how does the new AVG compare to other leading free ones out there such as Avira? I always used avira but i feel like a change that will be better * +

There are pro's and con's to every av program . but it mainly falls to personal preferance and opinion . * +

i was using Avast 4.8 and it was great. Never got infected til i stopped updating it and then i removed it and put Avira. Gonna install Avast again soon. * +

Ive allways used avg free and never had a problem but You have to remember that everyones usage habits are different. I just use my common sense and avoid sites that are know to contain threats. Its not a problem cos there is nearly allways an alternative. * +
