Hey guys, my explorer executable (explorer.exe) is infected with a keylogger and kaspersky does detect it but for some reason doesnt show any option to remove it. anyone got a solution plz...? * +

have also tried malwarebytes, spybot and ad-aware and none of them seems to do the job. * +

try with RegRun antirootkit http://greatis.com/reanimator.zip or sohpos antirootkit from here http://www.sophos.com/products/free-tools/sophos-anti-rootkit.html both free and still good enough

i dont actually think hes infected . hes installed something that is acting like a keylogger . thats what kaspersky is warning him about * +

when i check the report it says that explorer.exe is infected with a key logger. * +

Until you figure out what you installed that put it there, removal won't do any good. And avoid dodgey sites from now on. If you do have a keylogger, there would be removal options. I agree with what carta said. * +
