famous vlc which is nice but crashes on video effects and eq,i dont like it,it is unstabile and not that straight forward,if i remmember nice,it has another window poping out for visualisations and all kind of linux type of annoyance.smplayer has few too like the ugly interface but it is very customisable.besides it is using mplayer to play,some1 can program something like smplayer with better UI * +

really? how fast is that net? staying on topic i checked out smplayer and its not the most visual stimulating app out there. infact it looks like mpc with glossed out looks. aesthetics aside i was able to get kmplayer to play the mp4 brilliantly. i think the installation of the realmedia splitter or quicktime alternative or real alternative did the trick. now all is sorted + i keep my kmp * +

lol... @ above poster, is there anyway to use winamp or kmplayer instead... winamp has been able to do radio in the past but the problem is in most cases i need the url that connects to the radio station. i prefer having one app that does almost everything to minimize having millions of app each only doing one thing. *
