i5 750 beats 965, i5 760 beats 970.

the i5 750 wins at gaming mostly too. Dont talk about OC. the i5 750 manages to sneak past the 965 and it's TDP is 30 watts less, it runs 740mhz slower. Soon as you pump an i5 750 to 3.5ghz which frankly, a child could do then the AMD would have to run 4.5ghz to match it. I would like to see it manage that on air * +

most of them can do 4ghz+. At which point an AMD 965 would have to be well over 5ghz to match it. I'd like to see you manage that on water even...lol * +

yeah, while the intel could run at that speed everyday for years in a case on an air cooler. Im sure you wouldnt be inconvenienced topping up the LN2 every five minutes in a vertical copper lagged cooling pot to match it then replacing the CPU when it blows itself up after a couple hours. Practicality is your middle name i guess *
