Hey guys I gotta compaq laptop wid 1.66centrino duo and 2gig ram. its used mainly for photo editing. is there anyway i can improve the performance even more? the machine does run quite well and i use reg mechanic and ccleaner and defrag once a week. i find most normal operations work quite well but it does start to bog down a bit during photoshop batch processing and while its only using 1.3gig of memory. * +

is there anyway to improve in this area? i got photoshop max memory usage set to 70percent. it works better than wen its set to 90. i am running windows XP. * +

You.ll need atleast 2.0ghz or more powerful cpu to run photoshop without slow down * +
