I have windows 7 home premium too. I had alot of blue screens earlier. But most of them were caused by one gadget i used.. It was something who reading the cpu speed etc. Just have a look on ur gadgets and disable them and wait for results. * +

Try windows 7 ultimate...that what on using my my hp compap laptop with celeron process 2.16ghz 2gig ram that came preinstalled with windows vista home basic ...and no issues till date * +

If u have the copy of that window7 premiumDVD Just put it and upgrade ur window this will work *
