Of course, I was doing programming it was tough learning 4 languages I dropped out in 2nd yr, now doing web design php is fun. But ve seen they re almost the same because you desire 2 knw it all 2 b marketable e.g in prog csharp, vb.Net and java re hot cakes cos u cn build powerful apps alone, in (c)pp, ruby nd perl you re dreaming. In web design u want asp, php, javascript, css, sql, python, nt 4getting the basic (x)html. * +

web design sounds basic although I'm sure its harder than it looks. Have noticed that all young millionaires and billionaires in the world got their big break in IT. take a look at Microsoft (they were young then), Google inventors, facebook creators... and strangely they are always two. maybe i should get a partner in crime. i'm taking it at a college not varsity. one year of comprehensive programming should be good for a start. * +

Yes, but you will need to learn a language that will give power to your fingers take cobol 4 example, very few go 4 it. Cobol programmers get more cash than the others. Cpp is good choice cos you would be hired anywhere. I just wouldn't stick to 1. The .Net are a must. * +
