as its an old pc i can pretty much guess its an over heating problem of some sort, these tips will help with that. the hardware problems will show up with prime 95, if the parts are weak they may fail completley so try the cleaning steps first and if the problem persits then run the hardware tests. * +

I wouldn't say its the RAM until testing and confirming your CPU is working or not. First check CPU than the RAM. Above is advice on how to change your thermal grease and what have you. * +

at work a pc stoped working, and when i opened the case the only thing i could see was dust. soo i cleaned it took every thing out cleaned the conectors and reinserted them and now its working fine. they even offered to increase my pay, but i dont know much about pc repair, just trying to thingk logical * +
