every time i connect my blackberry to my laptop, i try to connect to internet i get this in the taskbar. can any body help me please? or is it digicel blocking the tethering of a phone? thx * +

could be some networks dont allow using phone as modem, check your firewall though it could be blocking the connection * +

i have no firewall since i just bought this lappy second hand a few days ago. it was infested wich viruses and trojans and i formated the c drive and reinstalled the os. what makes me think of service provider blocking it is that a normal gprs data plan works fine but not a bb one. i called them and they said its not them blocking it. * +

right click on task bar wher it shows connection en click property see if its showin yo blackberry phone modems in dialog box?if not en change yo port if still dont work en try reinstallin yo phone pc suits n drivers * +
