wat is this . and how it works . does it work like a phone that can be connected to pc for fast internet?am from india 3g still not available ere but can i get better speed than that i get thru connecting my phone to pc?and does it work on mobile sims. my mob jus givs speed up to 5-10 kbps very slow.wth the data card can i get speed in mbps?tel me which one should i buy model brand . . for high speed maximum that can my sim provide please * +

if my pc specifications required.- intel core to due2.93, 2Gb ram.,windows7 and xp both. wat else i should tel i dont know. i could google about datacard but i prefer for specific advice so pl let me know . .jus want to keep my software updated and in 5-10 kbps speed its not possible very time consumin * +

But once i used my sim wth 3g enabled handset and connected to pc it gave me speed up to 21-25 kbps on same sim same2G network thats why askin @jay * +

handsets have more than 1 way of connecting to the network, but the network has to support them to be used. your 3g phone probably conected to the 2g service via gprs rather than the mobile broadband service of 3g. the chances are you got a higher speed because it used the less loaded part of there 2g network. most 2g networks will support the higher bandwidth 2.5g so thats probably what your 3g * +
