we do seem to have a lot of problems with our electricity. Light bulbs blow quite often. Had endless problems with computer until i put ups in. Monitors were not lasting that long either. Had 2 blow one after the other. Although they were quite old already * +

a ups will help with the smoothing of the current spikes. but remember it will only take so much punishment itself. * +

your right jay, so it would be better to get a seperate voltage regulator then? i've actualy been on with the owner of this house to get an electrician in to check the wiring for quite some time now. Sometimes wonder if we not going to go up in flames somewhere along the line. Lol * +
